How does tele-health counseling work?

I use a HIPAA compliant platform for sessions and all communication that keeps our sessions private and secure.  Our sessions are able to be held wherever you're most comfortable: your home, on your lunch break,  or parked in your car during our sessions, you choose.  After we schedule our first session.  I will send you all the paperwork that needs to be complete through the portal.  In order to get onto the session, you would simply click on the link that the secure platform sends you via email.  

 

Who can benefit from counseling?

The simple answer, everyone!  Counseling is something that is there for those who are feeling overwhelmed by current life stressors, past regrets or traumas, or just feel the need to be heard.  In order to seek counseling from Arise, you must be in the state of Florida.

How do I make an appointment?

To book your first appointment, you can:

  • Submit the contact information below and I will reach out to you to coordinate a date and time to meet.

Do you have to be Christian to be seen?

No, you don't have to be a Christian to come to Arise. I use methods based on solid evidence that work for everyone, no matter what you believe in. But if you're curious and open to bringing your Christian faith into the sessions, you get to decide how much we'll delve into it. It's up to you.

Do you accept insurance?

I currently am accepting Aetna, United Healthcare, Oxford, Cigna, and Oscar Health.  If you chose to use your insurance benefits, my billing department will connect with you and obtain your insurance information prior to our first session.  â€‹â€‹
