Hello
If you are a woman who feels overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, anxious, or quietly carrying more than anyone realizes — you are not alone.

Many of the women I work with are strong, capable, faith-filled women. They are mothers, daughters, wives, caregivers, and helpers. From the outside, they seem to hold everything together. Inside, they may be struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, or the weight of constantly caring for everyone else.

I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker because I knew my life’s work needed to come from the heart. It couldn’t simply be “a job.” That calling has allowed me to walk alongside women in some of the most tender and overwhelming seasons of life — and it is truly an honor every time.
My Journey to Becoming a Christian Therapist
I began my education at Palm Beach Atlantic University, earning a degree in Christian Social Ministry. At the time, I didn’t fully realize that decision would lead me directly into my calling — serving others through compassionate, faith-centered care.

I later earned my Master of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in 2010 and completed the extensive post-graduate supervision required to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Although my formal education was completed years ago, I remain committed to continued learning and professional development through supervision and continuing education so that I can offer women the most effective, evidence-based support for anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and all the other things life throws at us.

My Heart for Women in Life Transitions

Throughout my career, I have worked in many different settings that shaped the therapist I am today.

-
I’ve supported families and patients during hospice care, walking with them through grief and life’s most sacred transitions.
-
I’ve worked with individuals feeling lost, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn for help.
-
I’ve advocated for families navigating complex health challenges.
-
And for the past six years, I have provided online therapy for women seeking hope, clarity, and emotional healing.
What I have learned is this:
Women carry so much.

Motherhood changes your identity.
Caregiving stretches your capacity.
Anxiety whispers worst-case scenarios.
Depression drains your energy and joy.
Faith can feel complicated when life feels heavy.

You may love your family deeply — and still feel overwhelmed.
You may trust God — and still struggle emotionally.
You may be the strong one — and still need support.

That’s where counseling comes in.

Christian Counseling for Moms, Caregivers & Women

In 2020, I opened my Christian-based counseling practice to intentionally create a space where faith and clinical excellence work together.
For women who desire it, I integrate biblical principles, prayer, and faith-based reflection into therapy in a way that feels natural — never forced. You set the pace. My goal is to help you strengthen both your emotional health through your faith in Christ.

In our work together, we may focus on:

-
Managing anxiety and racing thoughts
-
Coping with depression and emotional exhaustion
-
Adjusting to motherhood or parenting stress
-
Navigating caregiving for aging parents
-
Strengthening boundaries and communication
-
Processing grief or life transitions
-
Rediscovering identity beyond your roles
-
Rebuilding hope and joy
This is therapy for Christian women who want practical tools, emotional healing, and spiritual alignment.

My Approach to Therapy

Women often tell me they feel safe opening up with me. My approach is:

-
Compassionate and non-judgmental
-
Practical and solution-focused
-
Rooted in hope
-
Strength-based
-
Faith-integrated when desired
I believe healing happens when you feel heard, supported, and equipped with real tools for change.

You do not have to keep pushing through alone.
You do not have to minimize your struggles.
You do not have to feel guilty for needing help.

A Personal Note

Walking with families through hospice taught me something profound: life is precious, seasons change quickly, and unaddressed emotional pain doesn’t simply disappear with time.

You deserve support in this season — not someday when things calm down.

I am Dina Richardson, LCSW, and I would be honored to walk alongside you. If you are searching for Christian counseling for women, online therapy for moms, or support for anxiety and depression rooted in faith, I invite you to reach out.

Let’s talk about what you’re carrying — and how we can help you move toward peace, strength, and renewed hope.

You don’t have to do this alone.
